Brackets for Your Application
Each component is manufactured to your requirements. These examples help identify the geometry and interfaces to discuss with 6CNC.
01
Automotive mounting brackets
Mounting components made to your material, fastener pattern, and assembly interface requirements.
02
Automation & fixture brackets
Locating and support components with coordinated holes, slots, reference faces, and repeatable mounting interfaces.
03
Industrial support brackets
Custom supports with the specified geometry, material condition, finish, and inspection requirements.

Mounting Features That Work Together
Start with the features that determine fit, function, and acceptance. 6CNC reviews these requirements before confirming the manufacturing route.
01
Define the mounting relationship
Show the datum faces, hole patterns, slots, fastener clearances, and dimensions that locate adjoining components.
02
Review pocketing and tool access
Identify thin walls, deep pockets, internal corners, and angled features so the setup and tool path can be planned.
03
Keep design responsibility explicit
Provide load, stiffness, and safety-related design requirements where applicable. Manufacturing review does not replace structural validation.

Brackets Machining Specifications
Use these published 6CNC reference ranges to begin your enquiry. The quotation confirms what applies to your actual part.
| Item | Published scope & project review |
|---|---|
| Materials | Aluminum, stainless steel, carbon steel, and brass. |
| Published size reference | Custom sizes, typically up to 800 mm; actual envelope and feasibility require drawing review. |
| Tolerance reference | ±0.01–±0.05 mm, depending on feature, material, geometry, and inspection method. |
| Quantity | 1–600 pieces. |
| Processes | CNC milling, turning, and multi-axis machining. |
| Surface treatments | Anodizing, powder coating, plating, and polishing, subject to material and functional requirements. |

Material and Finish, Planned Together
Specify the material
Specify the alloy and condition from your approved design. 6CNC reviews material availability and machining requirements for prototype and small-batch bracket production.
Define the finished condition
Identify masked holes, reference faces, threaded features, and visible surfaces. Coating build-up and cosmetic requirements must be considered with the final mounting dimensions.

Inspection Follows the Features That Matter
Check the features that locate the bracket in the assembly: reference surfaces, hole position, slot size, threads, and specified dimensions after finishing. Agree the inspection report and acceptance criteria before production.

01
Review the drawing
Confirm the material, geometry, critical features, quantity, and acceptance requirements.
02
Agree the route
Plan machining, workholding, any outside treatments, and inspection checkpoints.
03
Machine & finish
Produce the agreed drawing revision and coordinate the specified finishing sequence.
04
Inspect & prepare
Complete the agreed checks, documentation, and packaging for the order.
Before you enquire
Brackets Machining FAQ
Can you manufacture a bracket from my CAD files?
Yes. Supply a 3D model and controlled drawing with material, critical dimensions, finish, quantity, and inspection requirements.
Do you validate the bracket’s load capacity?
6CNC manufactures to the supplied design. Provide the approved structural requirements and any specified testing; machining a bracket does not itself certify its load capacity.
How should I specify mating holes and slots?
Use a clear datum scheme and identify the features that control assembly. Include the mating-part information where it affects fit or measurement.
