Flanges for Your Application
Each component is manufactured to your requirements. These examples help identify the geometry and interfaces to discuss with 6CNC.
01
Exhaust & powertrain interfaces
Custom flange connections for exhaust, engine, transmission, and drivetrain assemblies made to the supplied requirements.
02
Pipeline, pump & valve flanges
Connection components with specified sealing geometry, bolt patterns, material, and application requirements.
03
Automation & mounting flanges
Interfaces for robot arms, fixtures, tooling, and precision equipment with coordinated location and mounting features.
Engineering review
Align the Connection. Define the Seal.
Start with the features that determine fit, function, and acceptance. 6CNC reviews these requirements before confirming the manufacturing route.
01
Relate the bolt pattern to the bore
Define bolt-circle geometry, hole position, locating diameter, and face relationships against a clear datum scheme.
02
Specify the complete sealing interface
Identify gasket or mating-seat geometry, surface condition, flatness, and the acceptance requirements for the assembled connection.
03
Include the operating specification
Provide material condition, temperature or fluid exposure, applicable standards, and any required testing. A machined flange is not automatically pressure-rated.

Flanges Machining Specifications
Use these published 6CNC reference ranges to begin your enquiry. The quotation confirms what applies to your actual part.
| Item | Published scope & project review |
|---|---|
| Materials | Stainless steel, aluminum, brass, and alloy steel. |
| Published diameter range | 20–500 mm, subject to geometry and manufacturing review. |
| Published thickness range | 2–50 mm; confirm flatness, rigidity, and workholding for the actual design. |
| Tolerance reference | ±0.01–±0.05 mm; define bolt position, locating fits, and sealing-face requirements separately. |
| Production quantity | 1–600 pieces. |
| Processes & treatments | 3-, 4-, and 5-axis CNC machining, turning, and EDM; anodizing, passivation, polishing, or coating as specified. |

Material and Finish, Planned Together
Specify the material
Supply the alloy and condition together with the environment and design requirements. 6CNC reviews machining and material requirements for the specific mounting or fluid connection.
Define the finished condition
Coordinate coating or passivation with the locating bore, bolt interfaces, and sealing face. Specify masked areas, final dimensions, surface roughness, and protective packaging.

Inspection Follows the Features That Matter
Agree the bolt-pattern position, bore size, face flatness, thickness, and surface-condition checks. Define any project-specific pressure, leak, or assembly tests and required documentation before the order is released.

01
Review the drawing
Confirm the material, geometry, critical features, quantity, and acceptance requirements.
02
Agree the route
Plan machining, workholding, any outside treatments, and inspection checkpoints.
03
Machine & finish
Produce the agreed drawing revision and coordinate the specified finishing sequence.
04
Inspect & prepare
Complete the agreed checks, documentation, and packaging for the order.
Before you enquire
Flanges Machining FAQ
Can you manufacture a nonstandard bolt pattern?
Yes. Supply the bolt circle, hole sizes, angular positions, datum scheme, and mating drawing. 6CNC reviews the complete interface.
Are these standard rated pipeline flanges?
This service is drawing-based custom manufacturing. Supply the required standard, rating, material, testing, and documentation for review; no rating is implied by the catalog.
Which sealing-face finish should I specify?
Use the requirement for your gasket or mating connection, including roughness and geometry. Provide the governing drawing or specification for 6CNC to review.
